Ess vs aa supercharger kits
Hey guys just wanted to know a few things
What do you thinks the better/safer kit and why? What would have more power? (ess 625 and aa stage 2 to make it even) What's better for every day? What is the better supercharger? Aa run a touch less boost then ess but with meth with is better? Is one better then the other on motor and dct over time with everyday driving? What sounds better? Thanks for the help everyone!!! |

ESS kits are the most widely used on these cars....AA had a blown motor a small while back, but I havent heard much after that. The AA plenum and ESS plenum are both the best looking of all the kits, but while ESS kits (all stages) have been independently dynod and have 60-130 times, the AA kits have went rather undocumented thus far (in regards to performance). In regards to meth, its just one more thing that could go wrong - but if your looking for MAXIMUM performance your better off giving GINTANI a call: their M3's are complete animals and the fastest of all the kits out there.

Just bustin you balls Man! I know, the same threads over and over get tiresome. My point was more, that you of all people have a very nicely tuned car, I know you didnt just put mods on that sold the most. |

I think instead of comparing two kits, one that has been out for more than a year and one that has just been released recently, the questions should be more about the newly released kit. All of the AA kits that are out there should respond to how they are liking their kit and how they are performing. ... and of course use the SEARCH feature of the forum!

i USED to think AA was the shizniz...... they had that motor failure (No massive problem with that but........) the way it was handled was just plain wierd..... nothing ever came from it, no real information was provided and imo something dodgy went on there and AA swept it under the rug. Now if ESS would have had that failure or gintani im sure the PR would have been handled much better, we all know that failures can and will occur but as potential customers we ALL need to know what happened...... For me AAs approach sucked, VF Got flamed by me and others for their failures and imo AA got let off way to easy...........
ESS all the way.... its the way i went and i dont and wont look back..... Dont get me wrong Ess arn't perfect but i get the distinct impression if something went wrong, they'd have my back... imo thats very important ;-)

Omar, could you please share a little more about why you believe air to air is better? Not trying to start anything, just want to learn more about these kits as a consumer. Thanks

these threads are referred to as the deja vu threads.
serious talk, both are good. ESS is more commonly done on these forums. Never heard bad about them. Don't know much about the AA supercharger, but it looks really nice. And i am sure it is really good too. You don't know what it is until you try it. |
