peculiar occurance...
Hey guys...something strange happened when i turned off my car. After locking the car with my remote i noticed that that the drivers side headlight and drivers side tail light didnt go off. Only the drivers side. i unlocked the car and relocked it...still the same thing. It wasnt until I got in and turned the key,then took the key out and tried again that the lights extinguished. Anyone ever experience something like this? anyone have any insight before I contact the service dept.? I also noticed my alarm indicator on my rear view mirror does not light up when I lock the car...Ive seen it go on..but its few and far between...Thanks!

By chance, was the left turn signal engaged. If you flip the stalk up or down, and then shut off the car, the lights on the corresponding side of the car will stay on. European roadside parking thing, standard on BMWs. But I think it's the parking lights and not the headlight...

Another cool feature related to this is after you turn off the car if you pull back and flash the high beams the headlights will stay on so you can see your way to the door. they will go off in about 30 seconds or so. I am sure the time can be programmed. I use this all the time after parking in the garage with the wife.

My buddy hit his turn signal when exiting and went outside. Ran his battery down and would not start the next day. He was slightly mad.

I've left my parking lights on while I went to a restaurant, 4 hours later, the battery was flat. Whats the point of them? stupid
