Very nice, I put the same wheels on my car a couple months back. Be careful washing and drying them if you don't want marring! Abrasive brake dust and fragile gloss black paint don't go well together, but it's worth it.

Love your setup !
I'm getting 19' VMR V710 on BMW performance Suspension as well !! Can't imagine how it will turn out though ~ What is spec of your tires? the side wall seems higher than other tires. TK |

Thanks, guys!
The BMW Performance Suspension is one of those "once in a while, oh my gosh did they get it right", products. Incredible handling and ride quality better than stock sport suspension. Don't ask me how. Tires are Continental DWS: 225-40-18 front 255-35-18 rear The offset of the wheels is perfect. Fills out the whole wheel well, sort of like an M car. Couldn't be happier with the wheels or tires.

Already have them installed on my car !!!
It's fantastic ~ my concern is how much would be the gap between either 18' or 19' wheels. Great looking car ! TK Quote:

Your car looks beautiful! It's interesting how low your car went with the PS, since every other 135 with PS (including mine) lowered the advertised 10mm only. Based on your pictures, and comparing them to pictures of cars lowered on Eibach springs, it seems like your car lowered just as much as if you would have installed Eibach springs.
When I ordered my performance suspension at the dealer, I noticed there were a few choices of springs available, and the right set is determined by VIN/options on the car. Since you mentioned before that you had BMW install the suspension prior to delivery, I wonder if the springs that were ordered for your car were intended to be for a car with less options (lighter/lower spring coefficient) and therefore your car lowered a little more than expected. Do you happen to know the numbers printed on your springs or did BMW provide you with the part numbers? I'm just curious! |

very clean. forgestars are growing on me fast.
My PS stance is about equivalent to this. I believe my springs were designated K2 and K3. Edit: I just looked at this on my home monitor (instead of iphone). It does appear a tad lower than mine. His car seems to be sitting on an uneven part of the driveway - could be compressing the passenger side suspension.

No, actually, it does sit this low... very low. The driveway slope is very minimal. I'm not sure why my suspension is this low but it works great and has a great ride, especially supple on broken pavement. But my front bumper sits really close to the ground! I can't clear anything!

The car is not leaning. One of the pics up top is a left side view, and you can see how low it sits on that side as well. Here is another pic although the lighting is bad.
I have also included a pic of our zhp knob and alcantera boot. No need to cut the boot to fit to the zhp knob. An alcantera brake lever can be added to match. Haven't done that yet, but plan to

I think that what you all are seeing is that we upsized our tires going to the DWS. Check out the numbers above. I think that this tire is slightly taller than the stock tire, reducing wheel well gap. I noticed this right away when we swapped tires

Thanks! Yes, for black wheels it works out pretty well because it visually separates the tire from the wheel so that the wheel/tire doesn't look like a black hole, IMHO

That's one hell of a badass look! The best 18" setup I've seen so far. Got me thinking of going 18's instead of 19's..
Could you please share the ET's you're running? Thanks. |
