Packing Heat? Kevlar to the Rescue (Vorsteiner Eye Candy)

Thought you guys would enjoy this.

This vented hood helps dissipate the heat from under the engine bay. It just seemed apropos to make a pun about "Heat" and Kevlar.

Is the Kevlar used on the underside of the hood only? CF on the outside?

I know Vorsteiner has a hood for the 1 series, but it isn't offered on JLevi's site. Hopefully that will resolve itself over the next few months because I should be in the market for one by early summer and JLevi is my preferred vendor - I've placed multiple orders with them and their service has been flawless. Or they could carry the iCarbon maybe.

They discontinued it but I'm trying to get it back into production...

What is the price range on these? I'm about to pull the trigger on an icarbon hood in the next few weeks... and I don't like the fact they use non-functional vents.

If its reasonable I would be in.
