Question on the Akrapovic and the sound of the engine.

I Love how the mechanics are louder in the car now that I placed the AFE dry filter in. To me this sounds really good, I do not want to lose this sound, but I think the exhaust should have more of a note. That being said, I am also considering this exhaust as an option. Can anyone tell me if they can still hear the mechanics of the engine in harmony with the exhaust even with the full EVO set up, how about the slip on only, does this change the sound in the car and how?

the sound produced by the akra evo full systems goes in perfect harmony with the engine sounds of the M3. I personally giggle every time the RPM's go over 5k...the sound is great!

It doesn't overwhelm the engine sounds but compliments it because the akra evo system is not too loud.

just my 2 cents.....hopefully another akra evo owner can throw in their opinion.

I can tell you definitively that you definitely hear the mechanics of the engine running in harmony with the akrapovic evo exhaust. the exhaust doesn't drown out the engine in any way, but rather accents its nicely.

i can't speak for the slip on however, only the full evo.

hope that helps,

I appreciate the feed back! I am going to try and make a point to hear these in person with locals hopefully so I can get a real sense. However any more feed back is appreciated.
