United BMW - Limited Edition BMW Performance License Plate
Quote:
1) It's limited edition 2) It's BMW's Carbon Fiber, R&D is required 3) It's awesome! A great alternative to the Vorsteiner plate frame. MSRP: $115.00 plus $7.95 to ship unitedBMWonline.com price: $95.00 plus $5.95 to ship Shipping to HI/AK: $15.95 Shipping to CN: $26.95 Shipping to AU: $55.00 - don't blame me! USPS priority mail How do I pay? Well, these aren't on the website and won't be because of the limited amount BMW is releasing. Simply give me (via PM, this thread, or my email located in my signature) your e-mail address and I will send you a PayPal invoice.

Unless it comes with some special screws or locking mechanism, I find it hard to justify putting on a $100 license plate frame that someone can steal in less than a minute...

Does it have special performance features such as +1 HP? Haha.
Couldn't justify the price, but good looks do make a car! Quality CF though so no bubbling in heat! Last edited by Satalite; 03-07-2011 at 12:30 PM.. |

Me like.
Not sure I can swing $100 for a license plate frame, though - even an OEM CF one. |

I went ahead and ordered one for myself. I'll put it on tomorrow. Although my car is not driveable at the moment (hit & run )

Hey Dan, do you get one license plate frame or do you get a pair? Because there are some of us that need front and back license plates

It's just for one. I got mine in this morning and it's very nicely made. I will post a picture when I have it on the car.

What do I do if I order it and find out it is illegal here? In AZ, you can't cover the name of the state at the bottom and it looks like it might. They don't enforce much here, but that is something they probably would.

I just realized I don't have matching screws..... and I prefer to not use the BMW caps that come with each plate.
