exhaust ?

I bought an aftermarket exhaust and was wondering if I install it will it cause a cel if I plug off the factory vacuum line? Its the riss racing downpipe back system. not sure because all my other car non bmws didnt have anything like that on the car. also whats the best way to plug off the vacuum line disconect the wire or plug the line?

find a 1/4" (not sure of the exact size) or so allen bolt and screw it into the end of the line to plug it. I the vacuum line is only for the exhaust flapper.

It wont cause a CEL as long as you plug it like the guy said above its for the stock exhaust the flap that opens at a certain RPM. Make sure u ziptie it up somewhere so it doesn't hang and look bad...
