Gintani Sport with challenge street x-pipe videoclip?

Hi!

I love my gintani sport exhaust, it really has a deep raw tone to it up to around 4000 rpm BUT i feel it gets a little bit tame on full throttle after that so im in the market for a x-pipe that deletes the sec cats to increase the sound just a little bit!

Im NOT intrested in the catless setup, that i have already found and its to loud and to raspy! Im leaning towards the challenge street x-pipe (sec cat delete) or some other x-pipe that deletes the sec cats. And yes i know this wont give me the best power.....

I have searched both here and on the web and have yet not found any sound/videoclip with this combo. Anybody that could provide one??

THANKS!!!

Here's an old clip of the Gintani sport with the gintani hfc's and xpipe. Should be pretty close. It was hands down the best combo I've had. Sorry I don't know how to embed a flickr video.... Also please excuse the commentary from my teenage son!

is that really the sport muffler? I would have expected it to be quieter than that. sounds amazing.

Yes it is. The sport is relatively tame when paired with the oem xpipe. With the gintani xpipe it sounds fantastic! I've had the race and with the oem xpipe it was still louder than the sport/gintani xpipe. The race scares people and this combo just gets their attention....

Thank you so much for this!! Sounds amazing and probably a little bit more than i thought it would Maybe it will be just a little bit quiter with oem cats up front? Did you notice any power gains with this set up compared to stock pipes?

Thanks again!

It's definitely quieter with the OEM cats. I just ran that setup on my sedan and it was louder and felt a little more powerful than the akra slip on. It really is a tradeoff though as you will definitely feel the power difference with an aftermarket hfc/xpipe but it's louder for sure.

Thx,
BC

just wondering, why wouldint you get the gintani x pipe? mixing at matching some systems can give you a sound (and rasp) that you wouldnt want......happened to me bigtime (mixing meisterschaft with gintani xpipe)...

I don't get these half ass x-pipes. Only for maybe Cali cars or cars on stock software. Secondary deletes are worth half if not less power then a primary removal.

The primary cats are the BIGGEST restriction in the whole car. You are better off deleting them and leaving the whole system stock for power gains.

Gintani Catted X pipe is your best bet. For sound and performance.

Gintani sport with gintani catless xpipe here (with 4 resonators).......its loud when you want it to be and tameable when you want as well...........power gains are immediately noticeable

if your swapping the xpipe i recommend going fully catless with 4 resonators - as per your original post, your wrong in regards to the raspiness/loudness.....yeah it will be loud, but not annoyingly raspy or anything along those lines.

I was going through the same thing as you when trying to get the perfect exhaust set-up....this set-up will be loud, but not raspy with very minimal drone.
