spotted 1 series M at dealer.

Was at one of my local dealers today looking at a CPO M6 and my sales guy took me to the back of the lot where these two beasts were sitting along with the new X1. They're here for the upcoming autoshow. It was kind of nice to get a sneak peak without having the crowds of the auto show. I am still not sold on trading in the 135 for one yet, although I will say the car looks much better in person then in photos.

Nice. VO looks awful in the picture. :/ Same could be said for the 135i. I had my reservation until I picked it up.

Awesome. Wish I could get me one. Would someone be gracious enough to give me $50k?

Nice pics, thx.

All the marketing and indoor car show pics lured me, but these outdoor pics once and for all eliminate my VO interest. Nevertheless if I have the option, I will go and see a VO one with my own eyes

I don't think those Photos do the VO justice. I've seen it look a lot better in other pics.

Just got back from the Edmonton dealer! It is pretty dirty and appears more brown in certain angles. It def handles dirt the best of the colours. Can't decide btw vo and Aw even more now though.

Just a quick notice..... this 135i is riding lower because of BMW performance suspension.

What is up with the front, and especially rear tires being to narrow for the wheels they are mounted on? Substantial ricer boy bulge going on there if you look close.

This pic shows that the fronts are fairly stretched as well. Also, to be frank, I would not be satisfied with that fitment on any car that I would be purchasing, especially a BMW. This is regardless of safety or tread wear concerns. It just looks silly and poorly engineered. It makes me wonder if someone at the dealership didn't do a tire swap, or if these tires were mistakenly installed on the wheels at the manufacturer.

What is really wrong here, is that the tires are too small for the wheel width. Fronts are 9", rears are 10", tires should be 265 up front, 285 rear. Easily. In fact, the stock 245/265 are the 'skinniest' you can fit on these rims. Hence why I think among my first 'mods' would be putting the rears up front, and going with a 285/30 on the rear. A modest spring drop, perhaps 5-10mm spacers, and with this setup the car is going to look....oh just so lovely!

I wonder why this car has no headlight washers. Probably has something to do with it being a pre-production model.
