Just a heads up, vista BMW has a Dakar yellow coupe, competition pkg for sale in the showroom.the salesman told me it was a limited edition,looking at the 5000 paint on the sticker I told him it was a special order and he responded " well then it's limited"

I was going to say this has to be vista given he is in coral springs...

Is this the one you you are referring to?

I have to say the same unfortunately, I went there awhile ago with my dad looking for an x3, or x5 for my mom.. and we talking with a salesman who was half-assed and obviously thought we weren't going to buy anything.. He continued to blab on about buying a car from BMW (saying their cars have no prior paintwork etc..)

Walk in the showroom (yes inside) and we see a beautiful white x5, and i look at the hood only to see a huge bondo spot in the center.. I asked the salesman if anything had been painted on it.. He replied "of course not"

I showed my dad and we bounced.

For reference, my dad owns a body shop. And i work there.

Well, if we want to play the semantics game we can say that the salesman is right when he says that the Dakar Yellow is "limited" because since it's a special order color then it will be limited in numbers compared to the lame/ubiquitous Alpine White M3s for instance.

However, he is wrong in saying that the Dakar Yellow is a "limited edition" M3.

Only South florida BMW dealers i like is Braman in West Palm.

I'm moving to the area and when I was down there last month I checked out the M at vista in coconut creek. They said they were the biggest dealer in the country and I believe it.

Why does everyone hate them?

Just shy of $80k with every option. They are saying $5000 for Dakar Yellow. So $75k isn't too bad for a new M3. What do you guys think?

Is there a reason that this car is still for sale??? Anyone know any stories about this car...I know it was on ebay and did not sell as of yesterday. I emailed the dealer and they are asking 72k now. Just think that it is odd that the car was returned with 600 miles on the odometer and the salesman tells me that the owner decided to trade it in on a 2012 X5M.
