My manual doesn't say M3, but under engine warm up it says V8 engines, i will try to post a pic tonight.

This somewhat confirms my theory that the early prod 1M cars, March for example, were put together by the junior staff at Leipzig...

I'm not sure that's a newer booklet, just for a different market perhaps, given the units used. Mine was a UK one, from the first 1M delivered to one of my local dealers.
