How to calculate the xx in MY20XX.xx
I have been seeing people post that they have a MY20XX.xx. How does one determine the xx? I'm curious as my car is a 2009 and the production date is 1/09.
Thanks.

the only cars that have the ".xx" are the 2011. Since BMW didn't find it necessary to change to a 2012 they kept production on the 2011 for 2 years doing small upgrades a little at a time. there is 2011, 2011.25, 2011.50 and 2011.75 so far.
Some upgrades are zcp, bmw apps, and I'm sure there are a ton more but can't think of it right now

2011 has the zcp package, 2011.5 has the zcv, and combox, 2011.75 has all of the following plus the bmw apps

Thanks for the information! BMW does interesting things at times. Was MY2010 the shortest in terms of production time?
