Wheel bearing

Just took it to the dealer. They said the wheel bearing on the drivers side went out and explains the noise I was hearing.

The check engine light was a 1x fault code that some dirty oil got on the cam shaft but it is self cleaning? The engine light went off.

Did u hear the noise for the bad bearings only when u coast (foot off the gas) ? Can u describe the noise u were hearing for th bad bearings ? I'm getting a metal shimming noise (like dragging a chain) when my foot is off the gas, but the noise goes away once I press the gas. . .
