50i Exhaust?

Has anyone changed their exhaust on their 50i? Aware of any problems this might cause? back pressure, engine/computer feedback, error codes, etc..I'm not thinking of anything outragous, maybe just a muffler change. I want to do it for the sound but I dont want to lose any performance either...Thanks

So hard to believe that there isn't a bigger exhaust market for these cars. Anyone done an exhaust on their 50i? Cant find much info/sound clips on the internet for the 50i

Changed the rear box on my E70 X5 4.8i to ACS - it is much smaller & lighter than the standard rear box - great v8 sound now - and no problem with my BMW maintance plan either as all exhaust components lamda ,cats are all still in place - cant see much change at the rear box for the 5.0i over 4.8i but check with AC Schnitzer or Remus exhausts they must be making them for the 5.0i by now.
