Calling all Dallas Area 1-addicts
I'm back in D-town from helping my sick aunt in California, but I still don't know who to bring my Bimmer to get my front bumper refinished. I know from personal experience that dealership bodyshop is not always the most skillful in paintwork and reinstallation of parts when it came to my former VW Jetta. Which of the three bodyshop would you goto and why: A) Classic BMW, B) Stewart's, C) Herb's in Plano ? Please give me your suggestion

I had reasonably good body work done at Moritz in Arlington. I can't stand any part of Classic BMW, so I'd recommend avoiding them. Stewart's seems a little over the top for a BMW, a friend used them for his Ferrari, and they took forever, cost a good bit more than seemed necessary and weren't very good with communication. I don't know anything about Herb's.
I've also had decent luck with Hance Paint & Body on McKinney in Dallas. They did a very good job of matching metallic black paint and even got very close on the correct amount of orange peel to keep it from standing out, something that Moritz did not do. |
