OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG Start of Production!!!!!!!!!
OMGOMGOMG hey guys - I just logged into the bmwusa.com website to see that my car entered the start of production stage already - holy crappppppp! just needed to vent out my outrage of excitement. if you've read my little post-reply in "you know you're a 1M addict when..." thread this might seem a little less obnoxious
How long does it typically take to go to the "en route" stage after JUST getting into the "start of production" stage??? |

Awesome mine should start soon, I have been trying to check my status for the last 3 days and have been getting the following error message:
Sorry! There was an application error. Please try again later. You may want to go to the Home Page, or the Site Map. |

Online timeline is pretty generic, if you want the specific status code (e.g. 047 or 111), best off calling BMWNA and provide your production # or VIN for this info.

Mine went in around the 1st of July and went to the "en route" phase just yesterday. According to the BMW website for ED, it takes several weeks for the car to get to the dealer.
Glad to hear you actually got an allocation. Can't wait to see photos. |

Calling BMWNA (800-831-1117) gets you more detail and I found it to be 24 hours ahead of OC online status changes.

idk if this is true, but i would estimate it takes approximately 10 days to 2 weeks from start of production till right before they ship it, then another estimated 10 days till it reaches state side. Since you are located in CA, it might take a bit longer......congrats btw, im still waiting on my production number
