Saw my first 1m today and got to be a passenger on the trackk!
So I'm tracking my S4 at Calabogie motorsports park today, and I saw my first 1M. The owner was an instructor, and graciously took me out for a few laps.
Thanks Guy! It's going to make my last two weeks wait for my VO even harder! |

Just got a report about the 1M from two buddies -- one of whom will be traveling to Atlanta with me next Friday to pick up my 1M - who are instructing at Calaboogie. Apparently the car is running very well.
If you see Woody Hair or Klaus Hirtes, say hi to them for me. Thanks. Neil |

Guy, the instructor, was a great driver and real nice guy. He drove that 1M very hard and fast. As I was only a passenger, it was hard to imagine how I would find driving it as my skills are quite a bit less than his, but it seem really nicely balanced. On one corner, he had it sliding for a bit, and it seemed very well controlled. The only thing non-stock was the tires. He had it for a month and loves it. I hope to be back next year with the 1M and hopefully have him for an instructor.
