That's no M3!
I came across this M3 parked on the street, it didn't have me fooled. After a little research the numberplate comes back as a 2007 330d se.

No offense but it looks nothing like an M3.

Seems lIke you just wanted to make a pic thread lol. Nothing and I mean nothing on that car resembles an M3. Little weird you went as far as to look it up.

It has the M3 bootlid, plus a similar rear bumper, exhaust, front bumper without the fog lights and wheels that look like competition pack replicas....Or maybe its just my eyes!
It's pretty easy to find out what it is, in the UK you just need to put the numberplate into an internet search. |

Im sorry, but this is a terrible attempt of you to point and laugh and get a pat on the back for recognizing. It's sad you had to look it up too to confirm its not an M3.
I could understand, maybe, if there was any M3 badging on it but I see none. Yeah there's quad exhaust and a spoiler and an aftermarket front bumper (which I'm not too fond of). But so what? The owner is modding it to their liking and it looks good in their eyes. What about all the guys with 335's and an m3 spoiler with ZCP reps, quad exhaust, and M3 side skirts? I'm pretty sure they aren't trying to pose as an M3 and might still even sport their 335i badge. They mod because they think it looks good simple as that. Looks fine to me. Doesn't look like a M3 and doesn't seem to be a poser car. It's just a M-tech'ish front/rear bumper with a quad exhaust. Doesn't look any more M-like than the stock M package that you can get from the factory.

No one sees this? I knew it wasn't an m3 but isn't it trying to look like one?
Maybe i'm wrong, I guess the majority rules. I think I better book into my optometrist for an eye test. |

There is no fake badge. This is just a modded 3-series, and honestly with all things considered, not too badly done. It may "seem" like an M3 MAYBE, but at no time does it say it is.

No M3 mirrors, no fender flare with side turn signal indicator, there's a plain sleek hood with zero power dome, a modified side skirt that looks nothing like the M3 side skirts, rear bumper has zero resemblance to the M3 as its got a black built in diffuser like the M-sport rear, looks like miro or linea corsa wheels not even zcp reps, the quad exhaust is spaced too far apart, and the front bumper has nowhere near the same lines as an M3. so yea, the only thing I see is the spoiler? I fail to see how it is trying to look like an M3 |
