I'm sold on the black gills after seeing them on yours.

Not a fan of the Knight Rider look in general, is it an improvement or just different than the black with chrome/silver? But I certainly respect your choice in taking your car in that direction.

Problem with going black-trim versus chrome is that someone might mistake it for a lowly e92...wouldn't want that

The Black Gills are cosmetically nicer didn't like the chrome especailly after changing the front grills. I got them from IND with light tinted lenses (you could go dark tint on the lenses but I didn't want to chance passing inspection) The Balck wheels are actually my winter set they are 18" and I have the OEM 19" (not black) with summer tires ready to go back on when the weather changes back so it wont be all black in the summer. i just really don't like the chrome trim on the black car, looks ok on some colors (and I had it on my white 335). Still debating it but leaning toward changing it after seeing some other cars that have had it done

looks nice! You need black exhaust or black exhaust tips (you can buy OEM black tips from BMW cheap) and a black M3 badge so it all flows!! Looks great.

go with the black trim, you wont regret it, check out my E93 blacked out
OEM black trim around $2000, vinyl wrap around $300 and looks as good as the OEM

Looks good, I think I've seen you around!! Try to do the window trim yourself, I did mine on my e93, it took a nice Sunday afternoon to wrap everything.
