I'm having a similar problem as well. What I would say is that the BMW customer services system holds a lot less info than that of your dealers. However my dealers system keeps changing data. I was a week 40 delivery to begin with and then it slipped week 41, 42 then 43. After my car was built it changed to week 44 delivery according to the system!!
All I can say is that I have no idea when my car is coming. It could be tomorrow, it could be next month. I honestly think the dealers don't know anymore than we do. They follow what it says on the system but the system changes all over the place. How do you know when your car is due? Honestly? It's when your dealer calls you to say that it's arrived |

I've just been told today that my Week 40 build car is now showing up as a status of:
9610 - In transit I'm told that it should hopefully change to a status of 9650 shortly and when it does, my dealer can collect the car for me. Estimated delivery could be some time around the end of next week / early week after (between 22nd-25th October). |

It's just bizarre that ED is not available to UK customers. Does anyone know why?

I think the rep at the Welt told me only US/Canada and German customers. Germans can even pick up their 1s directly at the Leipzig Plant (well there is a dealership on the premises). |

Meh, I'm having to call to be honest but in fairness moving much has happened with my car until recently. The dealer is now apparently checking it 2-3 times a day to see when the status changes so that they can go and collect the car for me. However I do feel as if I've been bugging them a lot recently for updates.
