Newbie question about heating 135i
hi,
i went to bmw to fix my heating in my car when i put it to 28c its hot but when i put it to 27.5 its kinda average only for a .5 change which doesnt make sense. so anyway they fixed it but the thing is that the heating only comes from the feet and the front window. The one that got straight to your face the middle one still display cold or average heating ....my father as a 528i and he told me its normal cause his does that too so it make the air circulate and wont make the car too hot is it true all that? |

Yes, it's true. The last few BMWs I've owned have all been the same in that you only get heat from the dash vents if the temp is set at maximum.
I use these vents in my convertible on cool top down days, but normally, there is no need for them. Simply set the temp you want and push AUTO (turning off the A/C if not required). The car will heat up very nicely with most of the arm air coming from the footwells - as it should be. Tom |
