Will upload my GoPro vids later, finally got to use the front tow hook adapter with it, but in the meantime some pictures from the weekend:

Nice videos - thanks for sharing. Summit Point is a fun motorsports park. Did you get to drive on the Shenandoah circuit at all? I love the carousel on that circuit, lots of fun.

These look like very good quality videos, would be even better in full HD.

What model GoPro do you have?

Actually I think these do look a little big.

I have seen much smaller units that I think should do the same thing, like the Contour stuff.

Maybe I will research a good way to mount my Sony HD Camcorder, it's pretty small considering the high quality anyway.

GoPro HD Motorsport edition is what I have, yes a little on the bulky side but this one has so many mounting options/hardware that I think it's worth it. Other, more sleek ones are Contour HD and Replay.
