paint remover????

if i use aircraft paint remover to strip paint off a set of wheels but i would like to tape a certain part that i want the color to stay on what tape will be best to use that the aircraft stipper wont ruin or lift in the process??????

I would strip the entire wheel and just paint it according to how you like. Aircraft stripper is pretty intense stuff... If you get it on your skin you better wash it off ASAP otherwise you'll get a chemical burn. I don't think tape would hold up, considering that that stuff can chew up asphalt. Just strip the whole wheel, add the base that you'd like, tape off the sections you want to remain that finish, then paint the remainder.

What i technacially worried about are the rivet/bolts thats come with the wheels its a cast one piece wheel and idk if these bolts r removeable and if they r how to put em back????? n e tips on this??

If they're plastic, that stripper is going to likely eat through them. If that's the case it may be best to just clean the area you will be painting thoroughly, and prep it without stripping.

ok so would aircraft paint stripper work to remove a machine lip finish??? and wat would i see when it strips the metal?? and from there if its the metal can i just polish it to a mirror finish
