FS: e9x M3 18" OEM Wheels and Winter Tires Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Hi,

I have a set of four e9x M3 ZCP/CSL Replica 18" wheels (non-OEM; updated since first posting this thread but can't edit thread title) and winter tires - Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3 in used condition, but with lots of tread left on the tires.

These came as an extra set with the 2008 BMW M3 e92 that I bought at the beginning of this year, but as I live in the Bay Area (California) and don't go skiing often, I don't have need for a winter set.

Description:

WHEELS
e9x M3 18" ZCP/CSL Replica Wheels
[EDIT: Deleted OEM. Based on responses in this thread, these wheels were identified as non-OEM wheels]

TIRES
Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3
235/40 R18
~7mm tread left on each tire (detailed measurements available)

Weight: ~45lbs each wheel plus tire (combined weight)

[EDIT: added link above]

Here are the same tires on TireRack.com:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....A3XL&tab=Sizes

Price: $900, or best offer. 1 week full money-back guarantee if you don't like them for any reason.

[EDIT: Updated price to reflect non-OEM wheels]

[EDIT: Added price above and removed "Fair Market Value (need to research, will update price soon)"]

Local Pick-up/Drop: If you're in the Bay Area, I can drop it off (or you can pick it up) at no cost.

[EDIT: Removed option to ship anywhere, as these are not cost-effective shipped]

If you need any more details to make a decision, please let me know and I'll update my post.

Lol how can you call dibs on something when you don't know what style they are, if they come with TPMS, or even what the price is? PM OP and ask him your questions.

How do I check whether they support TPMS? Also, I don't see any identifying markings on the rims that would confirm the style.

If these are what you need, I'd be happy to ship them at cost using your preferred shipping method.

That's correct, I need to reach 5 posts plus 24/48 hrs after 5th post, so most likely I should be able to receive PMs tomorrow or the day after.

Could you please help me identify the rims then? These came with the M3, and have the BMW logo at the centre of each wheel, but I don't see any other identifying markings on the wheels.

For anyone that's interested, I'll sell these with a 1 week full money-back guarantee (not including shipping) so that you're sure you're getting something that really meets your needs.

not sure, but i've never seen oem bmw winter m3 rims with a competition-style rim. anyone can get bmw logos and apply them to any rims.

looks like a knock off wheel, but stand to be corrected if anyone can prove otherwise.

Those look a lot like VMR 710s.

Would the local BMW dealer be able to confirm? If so, I can take it in and have them identify the wheels (there are markings on the wheels, just nothing that seems to identify the make/model).

I looked at some images of the VMR 710s and they look different. Perhaps I should take some higher resolution images of the wheels with a flatter angle than the pics I put up earlier.

Sure, what specifically would you like me to measure? I'm not a wheel nut (no pun intended), so I don't know all the appropriate terminology

I can now send/receive PMs.

you mentioned that the rims are 18". i was wondering how wide the rims are i.e., if they are 18x8 or 18x8.5?

There's a marking on the wheel that specifies 18x8.5.

I've uploaded some more pics at

, including a pic of the 18x8.5 marking.

My apologies, I meant VB3s, not 710s.

You're right. They do look like the VMR VB3s, although I do not see any VMR markings on them. They also look like the BMW M3 CSL wheels or the BMW M3 competition package wheels.

That's true, but OE ZCP or CSL wheels are 19" only.
