Alpine type r???

Heyy i have heard good things about these subs. thinking about getting a 10 inch alpine type r to put in my 128i trunk with a alpine mrp m500 amp.
will this bump or should i get a 12" type r sub???

I put two of these in my e39. It doesn't have the sky hole or anything and those cars are known to kill any type of sound that is being produced in the trunk. I have no issues with the sound coming into the cabin

I paired them with the PDX-M12 amp and they hit pretty well. I like them.

I have a 10'' type R and 500 watt amp for sale, never used, I bought it to put in the trunk but then I went with the SWS-8XI woofers under the seat instead...
