TPMS inactive randomly
Anyone else with aftermarket wheels and TPMS sensors have it go inactive at all? I bought the set of 4 from Gil when I bought my tires, but at least once during my drive it seems that it will pop up and be inactive on my car, and sometimes will reset while driving and other times after the car has been shut off/on.

Mine have had funny glitches like that from time to time, usually when it's very cold. It goes away almost immediately in my case.

Maybe this is the difference between OEM sensors and OE.
I have original BMW TPMS sensors in my winter tires and I never have had a problem. Everything just works like it should. I have a friend who went with aftermarket(OEM) sensors for his Audi. Two years later he had to replace two sensor batteries. Even though he "assumed" the new sensors came with new batteries - they did not. |
