What spacers are safe on 220's w/ pss 255/275 tires?
Seen tons of pictures and the 255/275 combo looks hot on the 220's but wondering what spacers you can get away with on a stock suspension without rubbing.
I read a thread where a guy tried the 12/15 spacer combo and rubbed. Would a 10/12 combo work. Anyone have any success with adding spacers to these slightly wider tires? Pics would be great if you have them to share. |

Really depends on the specific brand/model if tire you choose in 255/275. 15/12 is most common, but I rubbed in the rear with the 12mm spacer with a 265/35/19 lowered on Dinan Stage 1 with a P Zero tire (which has a more square shoulder).

Just another data point - I had no rubbing issues when I previously ran Michelin PS2's at 245/265 on 15/12. |

I tried 15's all the way around and I was rubbing in the rear so I went with 15mm front and 12mm in the rear, keep in mind that I am running stock size YOKO AD08 which are a square tire compared to the ps2 and slightly wider, I am also lowered on H&R springs. No rubbing at all and the tires fill the fenders nicely. I've seen M3's with aftermarket wheels but I think the spacers with the AD08 fill that jap so much better.
