Newbie to the 1M world!

Hi All.

Considering a 1M for a daily. What are they like as a daily, mainly short journeys? I would be looking to upgrade to a Akra/ similar set up almost immediately. tolerable?

Is there talk of further production of the 1M in the near future with additional features such as Carbon Roof, DSG? I think these are the only things it seems to be missing.

Havent checked actually but plenty s/hand to choose from.

I use mine as a DD - 10K miles so far, very happy, lots of long journeys. I've got the Evolve Race exhaust (and FMIC and remap...) on mine and the sound is very tolerable.

Thanks. I can see them driving well for a daily.
Do you run just the BB or full system? Linky?

There will be no changes to the 1M. It wouldnt make sense for them to do changes now when production will be over in June/July for non-north America 1Ms I believe.

Cat-back currently, although we'll be doing the downpipes shortly.

My 1M is my DD. Love it - just have to watch the speedo and keep the speeds down.

Best daily driver I've ever owned! If you can get your hands on one, do it! Oh and remember to get orange since it's the fastest of the 3

Definitely a great DD. With a stock exhaust, there is a drone at about 70-80mph in 6th gear, but it's very mild.
