19 inch factory wheels
Not sure if this was brought up already because i could not find it but does anyone know if you can order the factory 19inch wheels (not competition package) in black from bmw? I have seen a few vendors on ebay claiming they are selling those same genuine bmw wheels in black. They claim they were ordered from bmw in black and are genuine. What do you guys think? I dont wanna spend the money if they are replicas.

Yes, BMW does make the 220M in a Jet Black finish. I know Turner carries them and I'm sure GetBMWParts.com (Tischer BMW, forum vendor) can get them.

^ Correct, but you'll be shelling out all but 3k for them.....
If you already have the 220s on your car why not get them painted... It would be a much cheaper option and achieve the same look

I was just looking @ those jet black wheels on Turner:
Turner link. They do look pretty good, but a bit pricey for a set of 220Ms. SchnellM3 is spot on with the pricing - $2983 + shipping.

Not sure of Local shops there.
I had mine painted at Karosserie in King of Prussia they did great work on the entire car when I had it there last year (I drove 2 hours to take it there). Id also look at MAC in Glen Cove and Classic CoachWorks in Ambler as well. The travel time to all three is pretty similar.... Here's a picture of what mine look like. They used a more durable clear coat on them and hit them twice, to avoid any chipping. 013 by SchnellM3, on Flickr DSC00335 by SchnellM3, on Flickr http://karosserie.com/ http://martinoautoconcepts.com/contact.html http://www.classiccoachwork.com/ccw/index-2.html
