Just curious as we have never leased a car?? Yes, we paid cash as well.
Did you buy or lease the new 6?? I guess I don't understand the benefits of a lease?? Sorry. Last edited by M6-4KIX; 02-16-2012 at 07:10 PM.. Reason: vote?? |

I paid cash. I plan on keeping it for more than a couple of years, and I prefer to just pay and be done with it.

Leased. Hard to argue with 2% money. It's almost free.
Plus, I don't like making decisions, so this way I don't have to decide when to get a new car. |

Always lease these things, i cant understand how anyone would buy any car of this calibre outright unless they were financially set for life. There is just too much that you can do with your cash rather than throw it down a drain all at once..but its a personal choice at the end of the day

I never leased a car until the Fed decided to screw with our concept of money and keep interest rates at near zero. With this as fact, I can't see a reason to purchase a car when you can lease it for virtually no money penalty. Would rather have the money in my pocket, rather than BMW's.
Future value of money makes the difference on this choice. |

The old saying goes:
If it flies, floats or f*cks, it's cheaper to rent than to buy. Oh yeah, I leased my car too. In other words, I'm not too sure about owning a depreciating asset. Just my opinion though |

Hahahahaha. I'm definitely stealing that phrase for future use.

Owning is freedom
At least over here it's cheaper to finance a car yourself than by leasing (depending your financial status of course).
