VMR V710

Hi,

I have a set of VMR V710 wheels on my E82 135 and was thinking of changing the color from gunmetal to either gloss black or hyper silver.

Which would you recommend and why.

these types of threads confuse me, everyone has different tastes... in wheels, woman, cars,s, houses, watches, cloths, etc. I sold my 370z which had Volks and dropped and looked as nice as it possibly could of, some people tell me I am out of my mind for getting the 135i while others tell me they like it cause its a BMW and not a nissan, while others tell me they understand why I traded for factory FI vs NA. Everyone likes different things. Do what makes you happy!!! But if the consensus choice on other peoples opinions is what you would like to do than thats cool too! haha

With that said, my opinion on your wheels is gunmetal is the best color, but changing them is okay too... But without the color of your car it's nearly impossible to make a good educated guess on what would look best

To me you need to figure out your entire modding color scheme to figure out what wheel color you want.

I like the way carbon fiber looks with White paint. So I'd try to figure out what color wheel went with carbon fiber best.

Here is a picture of what the car looks like with the gunmetal wheels. I have done the mirrors in gloss black. I sort of know what I want but would like opinions to check if my choice is right.

Looks incredible as is and is fairly unique. If you go darker with the wheels and then change to shadowline chrome around the windows the look would be more aggressive but more like other modded cars.

Looks great as is. Otherwise, if you have to, I'd go matt black.

If anything get high gloss window trim. Car would look sick. Not that it doesn't already.

I dig the gunmetal on AW. Gives the wheels and car a good contrast.

I also really like the current color, wouldn't change a thing. Strangely though, I'm not feeling the black kidneys on this car, looks really out of place. Maybe carbon fiber would better match the wheel color.

I like your current setup, you should just change the chrome line to a shadow line IMO !

The contrast between the paint of the car, the finishing element in gloss black and the wheels is perfect
If you paint the wheels in gloss black, it might be too dark :/

What front lip is that by the way? I like how it blacks out the base of the bumper to give it more of a 1M front look
