Excited! New wheels on the way!

Just got off the phone with Alan from Modbargins, made me a GREAT deal on a set of Alufelgen CS7s in silver. I really want the 1M look, I hope they compliment the car well. Now to wait a week for them to arrive. I am considering swapping to the BMW perf rotors as well for the aggressive look. What do you guys think?

Derek

I was looking at those wheels other day. Look very good. And yes replace those blank ugly rotors

I am more nervous each day waiting for these to arrive. I really like the stock 08 18inch rims, but want something more updated and aggressive looking, I just am worried I am going to mess up a good thing and it is going to look silly. I have never changed the wheels on a car before, I just really like the 1M look and I hope my attempt to "copy" does not come across as looking badly done. I did order the front and rear BMW perf rotors as well, I hope they will help set the wheels off.

If anyone has pics of 18in CS7s in silver on Alpine White I would like to see more to set my mind at ease.

I would have gone with the SF71 19's instead. I have seen the CS7's in person and they do not look that great as 18's. The 19" Alufelgen SF71's look much better.

I hope the silver look OEM like, but I still am worried they will not give me the look I am going for.

Pictures don't do these justice. Gotta be up next to them to really see how aggressive the tires/rims make the car. The "M" sticker slot makes them look like they are from BMW and should be stock.

Here is a few pics on my 128 with stock suspension.

Check out my garage for more pics.

I got the wheels in yesterday, looked so sexy out the box....

Had them installed today.....

I hate them, just not my taste I think.

My 08 center cars wouldnt work with them so I am not running any right now. I am not sure if that is throwing it off or what, but I think they look bad. I can't return them, so keep an eye on the for sale board, these are brand new.

Hey Derek,

Are they the same wheels as the ones that Satalite has on his car in the photos? If so I will buy them from you. I just picked up a low mileage 128i from the dealership yesterday and I want a set of those wheels. I am in Houston so it might be easy to hook up and make the deal. Feel free to email me at jjmhj@aol.com.

135i is never going to look as aggressive as a 1M. The Alufelgen CS7s are nice wheels though.

Well, it looks like I am going to have to keep them on for the time being. I went to the dealer to have the OEMs installed again and they would not do it. The stock wheels were cracked in a few spots, obviously BMW is not going to help cover that. I will have to learn to love them.

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to earn your business Derek. You actually got the last set of the Alufelgen CS7 wheels that were available in the entire US! Put up some installed pictures so we can all see how they look on the car
