Brake Squeal Even in Neutral?

In anticipation of the first DE for 2012, I just swapped my track pads in. For street I use PFC Z-rated and for track days I use the 06's but I keep the same rotors for both. Now despite staying within the PFC line of brake pads, I know the 06's will squeal as they always have. However this time around, I noticed even when I'm NOT on the brakes, but just coasting in neutral I could hear a continuous squeal until I came to a full stop.

I did a 10 mile drive, local, freeway, etc and the car drove fine, no pulling to one side, no excessive heat from a particular wheel (or anything I could notice). Anyone know what's going on?

i'm sure you've already checked for something as silly as this... but the last time (only time) i ran across something like this was on my mom's '98 camry.

she had just had the front brakes replaced by toyota and it made the same noises you're talking about here. turns out the passenger's side inner pad was made incorrectly. the friction material fell off and out, and when the brakes were applied it pushed metal backing plate so far out that it somehow jammed in the caliper kind of diagonal like, causing the leading edge of the backing plate to constantly rub up against the rotor.

maybe something like this has happened to you?
