Best place+price to get windows tinted?

I am looking to get my windows tinted this weekend if possible (friday or saturday) and would like to know of any very reputable shops near Pickering/Ajax. I am willing to pay a premium and want to go for Pinnacle F1 tint (is there anything better???).

One member of the board recommended FX Auto. A friend recommended auto-links. When I called them the person who answered was barely listening to me and was busy talking to someone in the background so I just hung up and decided its not the right place (can you tell I'm picky when it comes to service, especially with my car?).

Thanks.

Also called a place called 'Wheels for Less' to get a quote on M6 Replica wheels (17") and they stated about $140/wheel, if I want 18" on rubber it would be about $1000

I'm guessing this is the M6 replica that I am looking at (this is just a random photo from googleimages/flickr)

I got mine done at itint, they are in Vaughan near Vaughan mills. He did a great job and charged me $180 cash.

I dealt with Don the owner and he's a really nice guy and gives great service.

I had a minor issue with the drivers side after about 3 weeks where the tint caught on the rubber seal and ripped, and he removed the old tint and put on fresh at no extra charge. The only problem with our cars is the opening and closing of the doors you have to be careful of, due to the window moving up and down. But there is nothing really we can do about that.

Since then, everything has been fine.

Mention my name (Kunal) and I'm sure he'll do a great job for you.

A little pricey but I got my ceramic tints done at FX Auto and everything was great. I was picky and told them how I felt about the dot matrix in the back and they went out of their way to take care of me even saying that if it did come loose that I could come back in the summer. 4 yrs later no problems.
Definitely couldn't agree with you more! I've had all my cars tinted @ FX Auto in Markham and I've always been really happy with their work!

BTW can you PM your detailing packages again? I know you did sometime last year but I just never got around to having it done... summers here so def need it done!

Where, and was it a good job though.

I went to a place 3 years ago to have my old civic (now my winter car) done for 160 (place called A1 AutoTint near liverpool/kingston rd in pickering) and I had bubbling even after a week and they told me that I must have done something to the tint to make it do that, basically they told me too bad we're not fixing it for you.

What ever you do, don't even think of going to tint king in North York. They used to do a good job back in the days , but now they suck big time. They messed up my gl450 and my 135i. Had to come back to get it redone a few times.

Detail

I think I am going to go with Auto-Links in the end, $275 hopefully they can make that a cash deal. I am going to hold off on the rims and Magnaflow now, my main priority is to save alot of money, just sold 18 Bearded Dragons (I breed them on the side of my full time job) for $450 Thats either going to the magnaflow or straight into the bank... (or a CAI)... theres so many options I can't decide

I went to Audio Heaven as well. Jeff (the owner) did a good job on my car, I would highly recommend him.

So you took my advice? How did it go and how dark did you go?

Burlington area

Canada Auto Glass in Burlington does a great job if you're out on the west side of the GTA. I've had 6 cars done by them and never had a problem. They also did my hood protector.

It went good. I left my car there, and picked it back up in 2 hours. I went with the 23% tint, and I think it looks perfect
