recommendations on brand and size of tires!
hey guys! i have volk te37 18x9.5 +22 front and 18x10.5 +22 rear, i was wondering what size and brand tire you guys would recommend for daily driving. i heard that the hankook rs3 doesnt last that long on the street and the advan ad08 expands about 10mm after some driving. ill be dropped on JRZ rs dampers with swift springs 450 front and 650 rear. let me know what you guys recommend! thanks guys!

I'd recommend Michelin PSS in 265/35/18 and 285/35/18. Great for daily driving and fantastic grip.

For daily use if it were me I'd go for 275/35-18 and 295/35-18 Conti DW's. Still a very good high-performance summer tire with amazing wet traction and reasonable prices, and comes in good sizes for the M3, a little bit taller than the PSS available sizes which won't fill the wheelwell as much if you care about that kind of thing

275/35 in the front should be fine, but there might be a slight rub at full lock. As for 295/35/18 in the rear, it depends on the tire. I don't know about the Conti DW, but I ran 295/35/18 PS2 in the rear with no rubbing whatsoever (but i'm not dropped either).

I wouldn't recommend 30 profile tires in the rear, they'll be pretty tiny, and more than 3% shorter than stock. AD08 are great tires from what I've heard though. |

I am leaning towards the more expensive PSS for my 08M3. I need a performance tire that can handle the freezing temps I see in NH before my snow wheels go on, so something like the RS3 that drops off ridiculously fast in the cold would not be a good choice. I don't think Star Specs are available in the 265/35/18 and 285/35/18 that I want for my 18 x 9.5/10.5 wheels. |

thanks guys for the response! but living in socal, i don't think ill have too much problem with freezing temperature, maybe rain here and there... but most likely ill go with michelin PSS cuz they offer 265/35/18 front and 285/35/18 rear!
