Going to look at a 135i. Questions!

I came across a used 135i. 2008 with about 22k miles. I have not seen it in person yet but from the pictures I have seen it looks great. It is at a local BMW dealer and has CPO status. The price is ~$29k. It has the M package, navigation, it's black and it looks like the rotors may have been upgraded to slotted/drilled ones. Other then the physical part what should I look for when I go to test drive it? And with what I have listed so far, what do you think about it?

I would highly recommend spending the $100 or so on a PPI from a reputable shop. It'll cost you a little up front, but potentially save you a bundle in the long run.

I would double check a few things. If its a 2008 then it doesnt have an "m package" The M sport package started in 2009.

I wonder if the previous owner may have swapped some of the M stuff onto it.

the sport package (what came on 2008s) and the M sport package are identical except the M sport package has a bunch of m badges strewn about the car and has different wheels.

That would make more sense then. I see the steering wheel and the shift knob have the "M" badge on it, but not on the door sills.

I just picked mine up and love it! Mine only had 12k miles on it and I didnt do a PPI. Everything checked out and it was still under factory warranty. So I mainly just checked for any kind of damage and found none.

if thats the case and the car has these wheels on it than you have a sport package car. Which is expected.

All 135 models have the same brake calipers and rotors unless the previous owner put on the BMW Performance parts, or some other after market parts.

If it has CPO status, I would not worry too much about a PPI. Anything goes wrong, you will be covered under warrenty...

The sport package included the M sport steering wheel, M sport shift knob, sport seats, and increased top speed limiter. The M sport package from 2009 on included these items as well as M badged door sills, M badged dead pedal, anthracite headliner, and M sport wheels (style 261).
