MOCO meets

So I've heard through the grapevine that there are meets going on in Montgomery County on Fridays. Somewhere on the pike, I am guessing where the Winstons is located. Not sure if anyone has gone out or seem this.

I am trying to get confirmation to see if it its worth going...

(we should have a moco meet sometime soon...)

I've heard of the meets too, but I think it's the old 2f2f crew from B&N something like every 2nd Friday or some odd schedule. Either way, I think we could use some more M meets around these parts. I think the Toys R' US parking lot is perfect. There is a Starbucks, Froyo, Chipotle and PLENTY of parking, not to mention it's right off the highway.

The one I think you're talking about used to be in the lot of Federal Plaza on the pike (Near Trader Joe's/Silver Diner). Kendall puts them together, she's postponed them for the time being. There were a few bad eggs that ruined it for the rest of us, so she's in the process of finding another spot.

She's an admin in our local Bimmer group. Here's the link to the FB page for the meets.

This group seems to have meets every few days, often times in Rockville. I've never been to one though.

Seems like such a hassle for a simple meet on FB and what not. We should have a simple meet in rockville. All bimmers welcome you know....

Lets make this happen, lets plan for a weekend in May (if that works for everyone).

Join that facebook group and BMW NCC and your calendar will be fill with meets. This weekend, tomorrow is the Skyline drive. Sunday people are either going to the College Park Tuning meet in Bowie or Eurofest in NJ. The facebook group is just more of an active group of people for all BMWs to talk/debate and come up with random meets when the weather is nice. It is an easier place to organize events and talk b/c you can't hide under a screen name. Most of the members knows each other since we all met before.

The Facebook link I posted is just to the "Meet and Greets" that Kendall puts together. The link Merlosso posted is to our group page. Our group gets together all the time, not just for meets, we actually hang out, eat, play, etc... pretty much daily. Come out to meet us sometime guys.
