Wow, I'm impressed that they seem to be around the low-mid 60's.

Not sure about Canada. But, I just took the car out, and it would take a hell of an offer to pry this ride out of my hands. So good!

Most people I've talked to want not only msrp for a car with miles but full cost of any upgrades and tax on top.

That's not bad compared to USA prices. Seems to be a 15k markup above msrp.

On used cars?

Seems like some buyers eyes were bigger than their wallets. They liked the car and let emotion take over and now selling a couple months after purchase. At least they will have some pics of the car that they owned for a very short time. Not very fiscally responsible. Its a shame really.
Someone else who can afford the car will really enjoy it though.

It's not about fiscal responsibility. A lot of enthusiasts switch cars often. I know i do. I bought my exige not even 6 months after the 1M.

Id sell the 1M if there was something else i wanted. I see a lot of 1M owners selling to go to the new M5; etc.

Also just to put everything in perspective. A 1M @ auction sold for $55k that barely had ANY options. USED as well. Ive had 2 dealers offer me $60k for my 1M (Fully loaded with clear bra). Also with a dealer trade you get the tax credit.
So the only way i would sell it is if i got more than that obv.

I would have traded it if BMW had anything that i actually wanted.

I don't think you can presume that this is because they were fiscally irresponsible. I can see how people would be compelled to sell when someone offers them $15k. People also have other factors in their life, such as the need for more storage space, etc.

+1 ... it's amusing how some people tend to assume that being a car enthusiast and wanting a switch translates to not making a proper financial decision. I've owned 5-6 different cars as a hobby in the past couple of years.

"Trust me, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my 1M, waited a long/painful 8 months for it, and I struggle with the idea of selling it"

Doesnt sound like someone who lost interest in his car and ready to move on, does it now?

You can fool some of the people some of the time but.....

You were an idiot a year ago, and you're still as much of an idiot today. I am moving on to bigger things, I just don't need to share my personal life with you or anyone else

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my 1M, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE what's next!

Enjoy your pictures.
No bites on ebay yet and time is running out. tick tock. Might want to be more realistic in pricing.

Bitter life. Hardly. Both my cars were paid for in full with bank checks, wifes also. Expendable income.
Wife, 2 kids and things couldnt be better. I dont sell something I "love, love, love" within 6 months of purchase. Next time you'll learn to stay within your budget. Must be heart breaking to have to give it up like that. You didnt even make it through the honeymoon. Hope you keep the next ride long enough to get aquainted. Couldnt happen to a nicer kid.

You feel happy about "paying in full"? Good i think your an idiot. I can pay for full for my cars too. Doesn't mean I'm stupid enough to actually pay for it in full since the 1.54% interest rate on my car loan is much less than what i earn on my money.

You don't sell something you love every 6 months? Good for you. I know people who buy & sell a ferrari every 6 months to a year. I guess they are bad with their budget too :roll eyes:

Sorry you can't afford to switch cars often

Dont like payments and dont mind at all paying in full. I prefer it that way. My money works for me quite well thank you. Guess you missed the expendable income sentence. Dont need investing advise from someone who was looking at looking to buy leased 335 buyouts. I prefer buying new and get rid of them when I choose, for now Im quite happy with what I have and dont have(or want) to sell, sell, sell what I love, love, love, unlike 1seriespud.
I switch when I want, not when the late payment notices tell me. Selling autos because you want to move on and selling because you have to sell are different things. Even an idiot knows that. You obviously arent even bright enough to see that, dope.

Wife, 2 kids, and a corvette...midlife crisis anyone? Sounds bitter enough to me

As previously said by another member, some of us can afford to switch as much as we want, whenever we want, and however we want.

Don't forget that the "struggle" I speak of is mental, not financial. I will have no use for the car anymore after i pull the trigger on my next machine. Before you know it I'll be driving a car that you could only dream of at this point in life...since you don't have the luxury of switching that some of us get to enjoy

Happy trolling to you!
