How do you remove the headliner and pillar covers in a M Coupe?

I am going to send my headliner and pillars off to get covered in black Alcantara in a few weeks, and I was hoping to save some money by doing removing them myself. Does anyone know how to properly remove them? I haven't looked at it yet, but I figured I would ask before I break something!

Thanks!

BTW, if anyone is interested, I am going with www.jpmcoachworks.com I have a verbal quote of $450-$495 for the headliner and a/b pillars

B pillar clips break when removed. It's made for that in an accident.
Parts normally fall into the car metal and you can't get them out. For me anyway.

The clip numbers are not in the EPC BMW parts.

this is true... i've found that the e36 door panel clips are damn close to identical though.

The B-piller covers can be removed without breaking anything. Most of the time.

Gently, carefully pull the cover UP and rotate front to back to unclip the cover. Then pull up. If you pull straight out, the clips will break.
The clips are in RealOEM. It did take me some time to find them.

The clips are round push-in type mounted to the B-piller and they slide into slots on the cover.

I have taken mine off several times without destruction...

Since you will be wrapping your headliner would you be interested in trading my non black headliner for your stock black one plus some cash?

I am thinking of doing the same thing. Can you PM me the shop you used? Also provide some pics or links to DIY.

Thanks for the replies! The picture of the pillars definately helps
I have chosen to go with a company in Atlanta that deals mainly with Alacantara, but since I am working in Mobile, AL, I figured that I would ask a few local shops about pricing. Everyone I talked had no idea what Alacantara is. One guy told me he would charge $800 if I supplied the materials! Another person told me that in BMWs you cant remove the headliner....And another person asked me if Alacantara was "like "FOX" suede"! He actually said fox, and not faux.

I CANNOT wait to get out of this city! haha
