WTB - Z4 M Coupe
Hi All, I'm looking to find a nice 2006-2008 Z4 M Coupe, white with imola red interior and no navigation, non smoking owner and no accidents. In a perfect world it'll have one owner with all service records and have low miles on it. We're ready to buy and are willing to pay a premium price for a premium car. No cars from the northeast nor the midwest unless thay have been garaged all winter and have never seen snow and salt. Thanks! Bill |

Looks like there were 57 Alpine White with IR interiors produced for NA, 34 with no Nav. Production Info. Expand that to all interior colors and no Nav and there are 80 out there. Expand that to Alpine White all combos and there are 149 to choose from. Might be necessary to flex a bit on some parameters such as Nav or interior color, especially given the geographic and mileage constraints. But who knows, patience can pay off! |

Thanks for the production info. Very cool. I'm a long-time BMW owner (since 1981) but a newbie with the E86 M Sport. We need the car to be white, but we are somewhat flexible on the rest of the package. I asked my girlfriend to imagine her perfect M Coupe and that's what her dream came up with (the original ad above). Hey, why not put it out there in the universe to see what happens.

I think we saw your car on Auto Trader. I too loved the unique-ness of the Sepang bronze but she really wants a white one. As I recall it had 5000 to 10,000 miles on it. Nice! Ali was traveling on business and took an M Coupe for a test drive near D.C. and she got a speeding ticket in just a few miles. Whoops. I hope not too much of that is in our future.

Like looking for a unicorn. Super rare in Alpine White and as above you may need to be flexible. Have you thought about finding the right car in terms of everything else and getting it wrapped in white?

It's up to you now. Considering how limited these cars are, you are not in a place to be picky regardless how deep your pocket is. Otherwise, good luck with the search

The one in Arizona appears to have been in a front end accident so we're passing on that one. I don't like the idea of repainting to a different than stock color. I'm an original freak so I'm even turned off when a car is offered without the original wheels, which I think look great. I know, call me strange but I have folks hitting on me for my 1995 E34 M Sport which is all original. We'll continue to look for a perfect specimen - that's part of the fun. We don't "need" it now so we can be patient.
Thanks everyone for your input. Very appreciated. |

Getting it wraped in vinyl is a good idea, and easily reversible.

Ive seen prices range from $1700-$4000, and I think 3m states that it has a 7 yr lifespan. It also protects the paint beneath as an added benefit. Im thinking of doing mine in matte white or red.
