Questions regarding headlight part #s

Hey guys,

I got hit by a flying piece of tire on saturday while driving down the highway. Thankfully I have clear bra on the front end of the car so the paint was not damaged at all. The drivers side headlight was cracked and the clear bra on the fender and maybe the bumper will need to be replaced. Trying to decide if I want to deal with insurance. I have a very high deductible, so I really don't know if it makes sense to use them for a cracked headlight and some clear bra. I would probably end up saving a few hundred bucks.

Does someone have part #s for the adaptive xenons? I may consider doing euro clears if the price is reasonable, so if anyone has the info on that I would appreciate it as well. If I decide to go this route can I opt out of the adaptive function? I frankly find that I never notice it and I don't drive much at night anyways.

Thanks in advance.

New adaptive head lights are about $775/ea, 63117273841 for the left one and 63117273842 for the right one.

I believe the non adaptive Xenons are 63117273835 and 63117273836 but you'll have to order those from Europe, they run about 540euro (~$700 USD).

You can buy the regular adaptive ones from ECS Tuning.

Thanks for the quick reply. I am assuming a dealer would charge me an arm and a leg to install them. Ughh, stuff like this sucks.

No problem, anytime Yup the dealer will probably bill a ridiculous amount, but if you've got some simple hand tools and time, here's a DIY on how to do the swap yourself : http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...ight=headlight

Sorry to hear. I would use this opportunity and go Euros. There is a guy in the F/S section (not the 1M F/S) that offers these cheaper than anyone else I have seen, give him a try.
