Polishing Headlamp lens

Anyone know of a good shop that can polish the lenses on our headlamps? Have a rock chip marring and wanted to have that done before I put on lamin-x film.

i did mine on my x5 and have film on my M3. i think i used a polish meant for motorcycle plastic and worked pretty well.

Applied by hand or one of the 3M kits? These housings are expensive, hence the apprehension.

You're not gonna hurt the headlight with a plastic polishing kit. Use a Mother's power ball and plastic polish and go to town.

on the x5 i can just lift the hood and there is nothing to worry about topside. i was just careful with the bottom side with no tape. you could mask off first then go to town. i just did by hand so little less on results but safer also.
