Vehicle Stalled while driving

Hi, 2006 Z4MC owner here.

I was driving and did a sloppy shift to 3rd, may have been 5th, not sure. Speed was about 30 km/hr.

The vehicle stalled on me and I had to restart. Has this happened to anyone before? Is this normal?

Well, if you were driving at a slow speed and shifted into a high gear that would drive the engine to run at an rpm below its normal idle speed, then yup - its normal for it to stall!

That's one hell of a sloppy shift going into 5th instead of 3rd

Thanks that what I thought. I must have shifted into 5th by accident.

No more cell phone calls while driving.

Now there'sa good idea. As a volunteer firefighter who has to clean up after the inevitable crash... I recommend you not take a call while driving.
