steam from passenger side air duct???

Noticed while sitting in heavy rain waiting to pick the Mrs up today that I was getting some steam from the passenger side front air duct

Lifted the bonnet & there was also some steam coming from around the passenger side headlight area.

After doing a search on here I've found out that the 1M has an additional water cooler located in the passenger side air duct, could it be that???

Does anybody else notice this as I'm a touch concerned as I'm 400miles from home & there's not a BMW service centre around here???

Just happened again so will answer my own question & also make my self look like a right idiot............as I came into the car park & as left the car park I went thru a very deep puddle & as my car has been lowered significantly some water went up into the air ducts & was steaming off for a minute or two afterwards
