New Rims...

Put some new BMW Performance rims on my 135i at the weekend. Just thought I would post up some pics of the car, just in case anyone else wondered how they looked.

I am pleased with it as I really like the Anthracite/Diamond Cut finish.

Cheers guys! Yes I did wonder that after fitting them, they are gonna be a right set to keep clean!

The interior trim is actually the Carbon Fibre trim as well. The previous owner seemed to love his carbon!

The tyres are 215 40 18 on the front and 245 35 18 on the rear. Next time I need new tyres I will up the fronts to 225 and 255 on the rear as they should fit no issues. The wheels are 7.5 front and 8.5 rears. Not got the off sets to hand. Will put them on later.

ET 49 FRONT and ET 52 REAR.

Pretty sure the OEM performance diffuser has 2 fins.

http://www.unitedbmwonline.com/perfo...r-128-135.html

The iCarbon has 3 fins - mine has 3 fins too.

The wheels looks pretty good - I prefer a darker colour myself though!

I do want your interior trim!

Oh great so it aint real! Thats cheered my day right up lol. Is there much difference between the genuine and the icarbon version apart from the fins? Quality etc?

Also whats the chances of the other parts being genuine then? I know the mirror caps are as they have the part numbers on the reverse. What about the boot spoiler and the interior trim???

You already have the car mate. Don't make yourself feel any worse trying to find out of the rest of the parts are genuine.

But if you must know, the parts no stickers are just like the mirror caps - on the reverse side. Best to leave it alone than to break something trying to find out.

If you insist to find out if the trims are non-genuine, easiest way is to remove the shift boot (held on by clips) and have a look to see if it's wrapped. If it is, most likely the rest are vinyl too.

Nice wheels btw! One of the better looking OEM wheels out there imo
