CF mirror caps

Thinking of getting this set on eBay. It's CF wrap (3x3 weave) by AutoTecknic. I am thinking if I don't like them, I can strip of the wrap and painted it gloss black to match kidney grills and side markers.

Has anyone bought from this seller or have them installed? Anyone seen them in person? Good or bad?

Comments appreciated. TIA.

I'm an OEM man myself. Some of the guys on this forum understand the weave etc.

The way I look at it is, buy OEM and when you sell your car either sell it easier with OEM upgrades or get 50+% back for the parts on eBay.

If you want to go with just painted(gloss black like you mentioned) don't waste your money on these eBay ones. $295 only to end up painting them, yikes! Just find a pair of OEM ones, doesn't matter what color and have them painted. I got mine from a fellow M3 member for $50 used then paid $175 to get the mirror caps and side gills painted at the same time.

I love that color, can you supply the name, or paint code, I am looking to do a similar color on my off road vehicle.

Thanks in advance
