Seat Belt Removal, How to get it off the seat????

On the ///M seats, the seatbelt runs through the plastic guide that is bolted to the seat with three torx screws.

When you take the guide off, I cannot figure out how to get the guide apart to get the seatbelt out of the guide.

Has anyone done this???

I never tried with mine, I just took the bracket off the seat when I had them out.
Does it just flex to release the upper part?

The guide is a two piece unit that snaps together. I have not figured out which end (internal) to attempt (maybe break it!) to get it apart...

It snaps apart quite readily. The top opens 'backward' and it hinges from the bottom as shown.
