Brake rotors and pads

Does anyone have any suggestions for upgraded brake rotors and pads. I'm sick of all the brake dust that the stock ones give out and since iv only owned this car for a month or 2 Idnreallynlike some feedback. I have looked all over the Internet but nothing has really caught my eye and I dont know which ones are better, I'm assuming some drilled and slotted with ceramic pads would do?!?
Thanks

I put some Stoptech Street Performance pads with stock rotors in not long ago and they are actually dusting worse than stock, and the cold pedal bite is awful, do not recommend these personally.

I actually didn't have much of a problem with the stoptechs pads. I thought the cold bite was close to the stock pads, and when they heat up they are much better. They did ok on the track also, although on one session 10 minutes in they did start to fade. I'll be running a dedicated track pad and rotor from here on out. Your mileage may vary.

Skip the slotted rotors. IMHO, just go with $35 centric blanks. $45 premium ones if you don't want to paint the hats. Generally speaking, they're hunks of iron...and not where any performance gains can be made.

On the pad front, EBC redstuff is low-dust after bed in. As are Hawk Ceramic, etc.

Many 1er guys like the Cool Carbon's as well.

I did the BMW performance rotors and the Cool Carbon pads. Looks/stops great, quiet as can be, dusting reduced by 80%. My only regret is not doing it sooner...

If you want low noise and low dust, cool carbon pads. You can get them cheap online.

Rules: Do NOT use them on the track. That's it.

If you want to increase braking force, friction, and heat resistance, your brakes will squeal and make a lot of dust. No exceptions.

Before you spend big bucks, why don't you try Sonax brake dust cleaner on your rims?

+1 on sonax. sparying + rinse alone removes much of the dust.

I bought Cool Carbons looking for an upgraded and more robust pad than OEM, for street and track use. That was a mistake! Im getting less bite on the street, and shudder/vibration on the track when they get too hot. They probably transfer too much heat to my rotors. I never experienced this on the track with stock pads, and will probably go back to them.

Im allergic to noisy pads in my daily driver... I dont mind dust ...
