ran my m3 in the 1/4 today..

so i made a thread about 2 weeks ago about what does your m3 do in the 1/4, well today I was bored and figured why not go and run it and see what it does. This is my first 6speed car and my first time going to the track and launching it. The first post was my first time, the second pic is my best time and my last time of the night. How do you guys think I did for my first time out on street tires, car completely stock? I feel like the trap is a little low but overall I am happy with my results.(it was 93 degrees outside btw so it was hot as hell)

I was surprised I was able to pull a 2.2 on my first run honestly...

my last and final run.

Not bad for a first. But based off of your 60' and trap speed, looks like you bogged the launch. More wheel spin would net you a higher trap speed. Also check the da at your track on that day to compare apples to apples

You did great. Keep working on the launch, these cars will do 1.80 60ft times or better stock as long as you have descent tires.

I was able to take my friends, but I only got two passes.

1.98 60ft yielded a 12.91@109.9
1.85 60ft yielded a 12.74@110.1

I had a passenger and some wheel spin into 2nd and it was a 6 speed car with intake and a tune (about 15-18bhp over stock i'd guess).

A lot of things will affect the trap. In your car it's the temperature and the 60ft time. Go back when theirs ideal outside temps (60 degrees or cooler), and get a better launch (no wheel spin into 2nd too) and I'd bet you'll see a 12.9@107-108+ with little effort
