Battery draining
I've got a problem with the '06 ///mr. The battery is being drained within hours. Litterally within 3 hours there is not enough voltage to start the car. The battery is new. I have narrowed it down to fuse 13, which if I read it correctly is the ABS/airbags fuse.
Has anyone else ever experienced this or a similar issue? Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated Jon |

Follow up: After more than a week spent between 2 different shops the only thing that was found was that the light in the box between the seats was intermittently not shutting off. The bulb was pulled and so far (4 days) I have not come out to a dead battery.

Thanks for the update. That light must draw a decent amount to kill the battery!
The switch is turned off by a small plastic bit that must have broken off. That's happened to a few folks. The bulb isn't really that useful IMO so pulling it is an easy and cheap fix (once the cause is tracked down, which is the tricky thing). |
